image.jpeg Only the second time I've used this mold. It is a six cavity Lee 155gr 311
Just more planking fodder for the 300 blackout and a couple of 308's.
I know that one of my 308's likes this bullet with SR 4759, and the 300 blackout loves IMR4227.
I might try this bullet in my stainless synthetic Ruger Hawkeye in 30 '06 This is my hunting rifle and has yet to see a cast bullet.
I've only got a little bit of BAC left in my Lyman 450 lube sizer and then I'm going to try to make my first batch of Glenn's black. That's a topic for a different day and I'll report back when I get that made.

Alloy is WW with 1% tin and about 1% antimony water dropped.

I'm going to TRY to get around to loading up some rounds for our High Speed Challenge.

You guys have not forgot about that have you?

Nope. Just been distracted all year long keeping my NFA toys fed with sub-sonic fodder.

My new Accurate 310-188G mould is waiting patiently for me to cast a big batch to feed my .308s, .30 XCB, and most importantly my M1A. The M1A is waiting for me to get off my duff and do a proper Camp Perry bedding job to restore the correct amount of action bow and then it will be party time with HV cast.

Another little pet project will be putting the sizing die Brad made me to good use for paper-patching some Lee bullets just like yours there and seeing about moving them along about 2800 fps and keeping them sub-MOA. We'll see.

My Lyman 20# is heating up as I type, and the Lee C312-155-2R is on top, preheating. This is my standard bullet for the 300BLK, one of the mainstays for the Ruger Gunsite Scout 308, and should be good in the '06s, although I've not actually shot it through any of mine. CTL-312-160-2R, Saeco #315, and the NOE 309-169 Elco, and NOE 311299 are favorites in the '06s

I have a master bath that needs to be fully reassembled before I can even think of shooting! That will take another month plus. The 10 day trip to Italy won't help either.

That bullet should be reallyood in the 300 BLK. Mine sure likes it.
