Brad and my daughter Dawn will be at my grand daughters graduation today at the U of Ia. She graduates with a degree in mechanical engineering. We are very proud of her!

Wife and I went to Scheels. Somehow a 4 pounder of Titegroup got in my bag. Must be a graduation gift.......

I left a couple 8s of Red Dot and H110 behind. Lots of 5s of Re 15,17, and 19 too.

Those are just what I looked at, they had a decent selection. Well, decent for Scheels.

Primers were too expensive, 34.99 per K and up. Ouch

Which Sheels ?
Across town from mine primers are $2-3 less at Sportsmans Warehouse but they still hold you to 1k per customer.

Iowa City. I think the store in Omaha is cheaper on primers but hasn't had anything like this selection of powder in a long time.

I nabbed some cci sp primers today for 29 a K Winchester are about 32-K.
the last time I bought them the prices were reversed.
I figure I better stock up on enough primers to at least come close to covering the powder I have.

A job well done, to Brad's parents, to Dawn's parents and to Brad & Dawn. And, a great big congrats to the young lady. Very happy for the graduate. Especially that she already has a job.

Only thing more fun and rewarding than engineering is also having the opportunity to turn your ideas into reality with your own two hands.

Brad, now not only are you her father, but you can also be her machinist.

All of my most successful designs started out as a very basic and incomplete vision in my head and I would start machining and come up with the rest of the design as I machined parts. I called this, "engineering on the fly".

Had the autonomy to do this for nearly 10 years. Loved every minute of it.
