Howdy I'm Rob and I live in central Indiana.

Been reloading for a little over year (38 Special,45ACP,and 32S&W Long) and have decided to start casting. Got my first mold last week a LEE two cavity 158grain .358 to start off with.
Very impressed with the amount of knowledge shared on the forum.

Thanks for having me.

Hey Rob, welcome to our forum. Nothing wrong with being a new caster, every single one of was at one time and we all had the same questions that will no doubt crop up for you. So when your standing at your pot scratching your head just ask away. Keep in mind that the only dumb question is the one you don't ask. You may get 6 different answers to the same question but that only points to the fact that there are so many different ways of going about casting, most of the answers even if different usually end up at the same place. :D

I was a new caster too. Loading the .38 special.

That was in 1956.

This is a good group. They can and will teach you a lot if you will listen.

Don't be afraid to ask questions. Don't be worried if the answer involves more questions.
I was lucky enough to be taught first hand but I still had to learn a bunch for myself. Every now and then I get to pay back to the guy who taught me and teach him a few things. We never stop learning.
