How snug

I size my bullets at throat diameter or within .001"+ of that figure. I have only been able to "build" one revolver to "perfect" dimensioning, and that was more of a "finish" than a "build" per se. I have one of those Ruger Bisley BHs in 45 Colt that came from Ruger "built backwards"--.452" grooves, and throats at .448"-.449". A true One Bullet Wonder, Lyman #454490 FWIW. I honed the throats to .453", use bullets that mic .454", and life is very good now.

How snug a fit in the throats do you like when loading for a revolver?
Should a sized bullet require a fair amount of finger force to fit thru? Should it slip thru with little pressure? Fall thru of its own weight?
Does it matter?
Mine are sized to the throats and push through with firm finger pressure. My throats are .001 or so larger than groove diameter. I'm no expert, but I believe it does matter... and I tend to see leading if oversized or undersized.
