No experience of my own with wadcutter bullets in 44 or 45 caliber. One of the PPC revolver shooters that shot with my little sister on the Department team had a played-out Model 28 heavily modified into a 45 Colt wadcutter gun, complete with truck-axle barrel and rebated cylinder. He competed with it for a couple seasons, and his conclusion was that the supposed advantage gained with the wider bullet cutting more lines was offset by the increased recoil over long strings of fire.
I'll be interested in how well these bullets shoot for you, Ben.
