I was wanting this kind of scope.. Seeking a better used scope for less $$. Wanting ta spend 200 ish $.
This was brand new, But unknown history. Is on clearance With Midway 230$!

From TruGlo, I have two Centra models they was offered couple years back. Similar, but not as good. Just comparing cost. Those were 300 Retail. The TX6 are 500 Retail. Both FFP Centra was 4-16. TX6 is 3-18 & 4-24. Both 30mm & locking target turrets. Both also M-rad adjust & Reticles. TX6 has a Zero stop. Centra water resistant nitrogen Purge. TX6 Fully Water Proof. TX is more Brite & Clearer. I like both, but TX is nicer.

Its gonna live on my Target 6mm Remington Weatherby.

I was coaxed ta make this video by friend in Alabama, who was looking at one. I picked it up "used" few months ago.

Id say slight better glass, equal reticle. Nice srgos. But non loc turrets ruin it as a hunting scope.

Wish I could know a way to lock turrets.

I have seen a lot of good reviews about the RITON, never looked at one, but for the price point they would be worth considering.

CW I agree the non locking turrets can cause issues. Seems to be the way things are going now with most manufacturers. Leupolds zero locks are where it’s at with exposed adjustable turrets.

I don't know which model it is, but yes absolutely Leopold zero Stop, on that scope was a work of art. But depressible button to engage or disengage. It was really nice. And that equates to usually very expensive. :)

This first vocal plane second vocal plane thing is a little bit of getting used to. Of course most of us are used to the second vocal plane. I see some real advantages to the first vocal plane but I really like it as a target scope. For me, that's because most of my hunting is really close range which means lower power settings on the scope, which means much smaller, finer harder to see and pick up radicals. Both big no no for fast shooting in heavy brush. I like a number one or number three radical which is literally a fence post compared to these first vocal plane radicals that are barely visible. It's quite a contrast. But if you were out west, or anywhere where you were going to use at least five or six power it would probably be fine

I cited this rifle yesterday using the scope. Started the day and bright sunshine so of course everything was perfect as we got into the afternoon I got some pretty bad glare, but the coatings on the scope did a really good job. It was actually better than the Bushnell prime that I shot afterwards. As far as glare control. And then I shot it again at dusk, and it was clear and bright about the only complaint I could have was on 18 power. It was a bit of a small box. It wasn't a problem. It didn't blackout it just got a little fuzzy or hazy as I got to the edge , but if you stay inside the box, it was clear and bright. I like the radical a lot I was able to make accurate shots. I was able to move my bullet nicely with the turret to sign in. Overall I think the scopes of winner I really like it. CW

If in the market for a new scope, it is hard beat Mueller for the price and lifetime warranty. I have one on my 541S Reg and it truly a great scope. Was turned onto these by my shooting partner who puts top of the line Nightforce on his F-class rifles. He actually gave this Mueller to me. He had bought two and realized that at his age, he was probably never going to use them. That's the second scope he's given me.
