It Just Occured To Me......

It just occurred to me that we on this site have been talking about molds we have, molds of yester years,
Ben's been pulling them out of thin air, as only he can do :).

So what I am suggesting is what Al calls a "Wish List" or "What would you like to see ran (run)" ?

Tax returns are back, money for now is not a concern, what would you like to have for a new mold?

More paper patch moulds , I have the 301618 but I'd sure like to have a .279,.272,.250,.448 and .350 in a similar shape. Currently on my get it right away list is the 35 XCB . I'd like to find a 454424 in a 4C+ but a 2C would be an improvement over the single on hand now a 454426 would be good too sized 452 in the old S&W ACP revolver and 454 in the Colts BH it's a shame it is too long for the 92' ......but I do have some Schofield brass.
A correct mould for the 32 Remington .315 nose and 323 bands would be nice .
A 270 cal comparable to the RCBS 7mm -168 at 160 gr nominal.

As long as it is wish booking I'd like to have a 6.8 SPCII 18" bbl with rifle length gas and a target crown 1-11 twist 4 groove for an AR .

A NOE .314" dia. 180 gr Ranch Dog with regular lube grooves.

A NOE clone of the Lyman 452460.

A 1/3 oz mackerel diamond jig mold, a multi cavity 1/4, 1/3, and 1/2 oz would be OK, too.

A NOE .266" nose bushing.

A NOE .451" body bushing.

NOE plastic mold boxes

yodogsandman......I might be able to help with those !

My list right now would include a NOE true copy of the Lee 155 and 160 TL.

AND a bolt action 30-30 less expensive than a Winchester Model 54 but better than a 340.

Unless I've missed it, a 318299, or something that size in the 180 to 190-grain range.

I'll go along with the 452460, too, as my Randall likes it.

Quicksylver, I forgot the true copy of the 30 cal lee 155. SHAME ON ME! That bullet shoots in any 30 well-to-great. Would be nice to have a 4 cav w/2PB-2GC. I would get a lot of use out of both of them.

True copy, meaning Lee's manufacturing changes to Ed Harris's original design? NOE has the 312-160 Harris design. I have the NOE 314-160 Harris doing double duty between my SKS's and Mauser FR-8, right now. Shoots good in both! Still tweaking the loads, though.

:):) What ever is the current Lee 312 155 and 160 tl design.

Checked out the Ed Harris and thought it was different than the Lee.

I believe that Ed Harris' original design was done as a CBA group buy through Lee. Over the years, Lee has changed the dimensions slightly to make manufacturing cheaper (maybe better?). The TL version was Lee's idea and Mr. Harris went along with it. HM2 also made the same bullet mold from the original design. The new NOE clone has been blessed by Mr. Harris, see the NOE group buy discussion. If any one knows better what's happened to the original design, please correct me. It all happened when I was away from my casting pot for a bunch of years.
