OK.... rambling post alert, may want to stop reading.
Not picking on anyone but,was reading on another forum about this ( CB accuracy "work") not being brain surgery. And to a certain extent this could be applied to any project?Well,it happens that I know a thing or two about brain surgery....... no,not because my customer lists have been wrought with brain surgeons, although there has been some GREAT stories...
It's a very simple observation.
One of my girls( dear friends daughter) ...... slackjaw gorgeous 35 y.o. redhead.... sells brain surgeon tools and equipment making stoooopid bank. She then smiles, and asks if I'll help her spend it on her estate. So,we love each other and there is this strange father daughter symbiosis. She grew up driving category 3 tractors so is no stranger to tools and equipment.
So she shows me all this neat "stuff" that gets used in not only brain surgery but, other complicated directions, medically speaking. Now to the point....... " this ain't brain surgery"?You can bet your arse it isn't, it's WAAAAAY more complicated. This is why.Compare brain surgeons tools/technology with that of say,a brick mason. The former is banking on $$$$ tech for much of what presses the envelope. The latter, well most if his tools would fit in a wheelbarrow......
One is tech based, the other is skill based. So,just like money can't buy taste and to a degree,talent..... why does anyone think moving the bar higher in CB world is tech based? Maybe learn the skill of better casting? Maybe learn time and temperature ain't just a culinary mindset? It's not the tools it's the craftsman?
