Winelover

Not fond of SA's myself. LGS had both versions of the Wrangler, a year ago. Priced less than $200. I almost sprung for the birds head. Disappointed that Ruger only made them a six shooter. Almost all 22LR revolvers are eight shot.Don't have a lot of love for single actions, the grip just doesn't fit my hand all that well and in any kind of powerful caliber I just can't hang on to one. That said, these little rascals in .22LR look like they might be a lot of fun.
Stopped in at the same LGS, yesterday. Placed an order for a Charter Arms Pathfinder DA with a two inch tube or a Taurus 942, same configuration.
Model # 72224
Charter Arms' Pathfinder is a great introductory revolver for the novice shooter. It has the look, feel and weight of a higher-caliber revolver, allowing you to gain proficiency while using relatively inexpensive .22 ammo. The .22 pathfinder can turn a few tin cans into an afternoon of fun...

Would prefer the Taurus, since the rear sight is drift adjustable. Like the compac grip, too. Was told they are next to impossible to get. None on GB or Bud's site.
