Cats never listen. They’re too aloof.

Oh they listen all right, and hear everything, if something does not interest them at the time, so be it.
The more interaction a person gives their cat will determine how much the cat will choose on their own to interact with them. If you want an aloof cat, ignore them. Cats can be every bit as interactive in their own way as dogs, give them the same attention as you would any other family member, what we give them is exactly what we will get back in return.

Our two know what snow is just by looking by looking at it when the door is opened. When they see white, it's about face and back inside.
They know what the door bell means, recognize voices, who is at door- UPS man vs friend, play fetch, tell us when they want to play, try to get us to let them outside, or the food dish is empty, sit in front of the fridge when they want to tell us they want canned food vs dry crap, come when called, even when it's not time to eat. When my wife finishes new quilt top and spreads it out on the floor, they fight over it, but only the first time it is laid out, plus they can determine where the exact center is and promptly sit or lay down in that spot, then tussle over that spot. Ever taken notice just how many vocalizations a cat has, it is pretty amazing. Each of our two have different routines with my wife than they do with me.

Before my wife and I met, she learned that if the her date did not pass the cat test, meaning did the cat like him or not, determined if there was 2nd date of not. If the cat did not the guy, without fail he turned out to be a putz, jerk, jackass, etc., so I've been told. On our first date, I was greeted at the door with purrs and head bumps, after dinner we were sitting on the couch and her cat plopped himself between us. That began my onn going lesson coming up on +32 years of living with a cat. I could go on all night.

I just picked up a couple New colors.
Eastwood Cadillac Blue its dark blue looks just like the old Federal Nyclad bullets. Exactly a color I have wanted. It coated well but was first time use.

Prysmatic powders Bronze Chrome. I like this one allot! Its a bronze metalic color. It coats very well same as best eastwoods.

I always chuckle when I read how well and completely clear coats.. How do you know? Its CLEAR! :p ;) But it goes on white and appears to coat well for me too.

Smokes is place ta buy/try new colors. He knows what has worked well for others, HOW WE USE IT! Remember these are designed for use with a electro static gun not shake n bake. So some dont "work" as well as others.

I love cats and dogs but consider myself more of a cat person. Don't currently have a dog, but will again when I retire for good.

That said, show me someone who does not like cats and I will show you a very insecure person. Your wife had a good litmus test of character with the cat test.

cats have over 90 vocalizations they use at various times.
they are trainable too just like in that Dinero movie, i've had cats trained to fetch, sit, lay, sit up, give high fives, and roll over on command.
never owned a cat,,, but have messed with a bunch.
