This one has turned into one of my favorite moulds.
My grandson goes through a lot of light , 30-30 plinker loads.
This one is a natural for that application.
No gas check to buy and install .
Shoot it in the 1,100 fps bracket and it is a winner.
We use 4.0 grs. of Titegroup with this one with pistol primers.
Cheap on the pocket book, easy on the ears, and easy on the shoulder .
( 752 bullets from 10 lbs. of alloy.........that's a lot of shooting for a 10 year old )

I lube the bottom lube ring only in my lube sizer with Ben' Red and then roll them in a single light coat of Ben's Liquid Lube.
They leave the bore mirror bright after hundreds of rounds.

Once the bullets are sized to .311" and have the bottom lube ring filled with Ben's Red, they are coated with a single layer of Ben's Liquid lube and left to dry over-night . They will be ready to load and shoot the following day.

Are they accurate ? ?
This is 25 rounds at 40 yards that Trevor fired with the Ruger # 1 Stainless , 30-30 Win .

I love blasting plain bases all afternoon to.

I bet you can skip the red & attain the same results. May surprise you how little work is needed to fling'em slow & still be accurate. I don't even size the 311-113.

A high probability that you're 100% correct.

Very nice!
I have the 100grs version, and I have shot it a little in 30-06 and 308, but never really got it to shoot properly. I might have used a tad to much powder :)

At the casting bench in the sky. RIP Bret.
What do they drop at Ben? One of the guys was looking at that mould I think.

This one is a bit like a Loverin design in that it keeps a lot of its bearing surface in contact with the barrel. ( no long nose hanging out with zero support )

I was sitting at my bench today thinking " I wonder just how many of these 93 gr. RN Lee bullets could be lubed with this jar of Ben's Liquid Lube "

Using my lube technique, I have my doubts that it would work very well in the 327 Fed Mag with " full tilt " loads.

Powder coat is another story.
Good luck !

CW, I think for your plinker loads, and since you PC, that might just work.
I’m thinkin so as well. Not at all looking for hot rod loads here. As a rule none of my lead is loaded that way.
IMHO that’s where j words accelerate.
Also I thought 90308 was listed as a 32, dropping .312?

Pop wants “porch shootin” loads. ;)

most 32's are more like a big 30 and barely reach 31 status.
I wouldn't put money against that mold shooting well in a 327 lubed with the red and a coat of BLL at some close to jacketed speeds.
you'd maybe want a gas check at over the top velocities, but getting there speeds?
you'd be just fine.
