This one has turned into one of my favorite moulds.
My grandson goes through a lot of light , 30-30 plinker loads.
This one is a natural for that application.
No gas check to buy and install .
Shoot it in the 1,100 fps bracket and it is a winner.
We use 4.0 grs. of Titegroup with this one with pistol primers.
Cheap on the pocket book, easy on the ears, and easy on the shoulder .
( 752 bullets from 10 lbs. of alloy.........that's a lot of shooting for a 10 year old )
I lube the bottom lube ring only in my lube sizer with Ben' Red and then roll them in a single light coat of Ben's Liquid Lube.
They leave the bore mirror bright after hundreds of rounds.
Once the bullets are sized to .311" and have the bottom lube ring filled with Ben's Red, they are coated with a single layer of Ben's Liquid lube and left to dry over-night . They will be ready to load and shoot the following day.
Are they accurate ? ?
This is 25 rounds at 40 yards that Trevor fired with the Ruger # 1 Stainless , 30-30 Win .
