Yakima Canutt could make one to fit both your rifle and hand perfectly.I would prefer one of with a large loop. However, large loops aren't standard equipment on a Marlin or Rossi lever. Not about to purchase aftermarket ones, at the prices they want for them, and have possible fitment issues.
Almost 20 years later they borrowed that big loop lever for the TV show, "The Rifleman".Referring back to my previous post, and for those who may not know: Yakima Canutt invented the big loop lever, when he modified the '92 John Wayne used in "Stagecoach", and a trick became a legend's trademark.
Oscar,462 - SORT of a movie trivia question. In Salinas, back in my day their ('90-93), there was a dog boarding place. But they also had a bunch of movie animals they boarded. Two of the coolest things - a blind she mtn lion (AND how/where I learned that the horror movie screams I was hearing in the mountains were actually mtn lions in heat!), AND a 12' Komoda Dragon! Walked in and that monster was being hand fed raw hamburger. I wasn't sure WHAT to do! But WAY cool!
Olcutt maybe? There was a few makers using that blade style. Cutco and one that is escaping me from Walden New York as well as Case that this one is.
