So - brought to my attention today from a friend who shoots and displays Civil War era BP Arms. As you know, they had some unique bullet designs for them. Seems now, there is a guy offering molds (made by Lee - 2C) that produce authentic designs. I have not used any of the molds or bullets, but my friend is very excited about them. Thought I would pass this along in case anyone was shooting any of the old iron.

From my friend:
A friend and member of our Tennessee Valley Civil War Round Table, Mark Hubbs, is not only a period small arms expert but has provided a tremendous service to living historians, shooters, and reenactors. Mark has filled a large gap that existed for those who like to shoot 1800s black powder weapons, or display them in historical displays. Generally, only a few types of lead reproduction bullets could be obtained on the market……..until Mark solved this problem. There are dozens of different weapons with a variety of calibers used during the War Between the States and many excellent reproductions that shoot the different calibers. Mark took it upon himself to produce molds to produce these different bullets, now making them available where they were not before. I am Mark’s newest customer as I need authentic bullets for exhibits and displays that I could not obtain until now.
