Hi Folks,
I've been shooting (and casting, and loading, and 'smithing) for about 7 years since recovering from a long term (5 years) eye injury. I was lucky enough to hook up with a great shooting partner through LASC, Alan Brooks, who died a couple of years ago.
I'm 99% a pistol shooter. Of the "stand up on your hind legs and shoot" persuasion. This pretty much guarantees that I will always be the lowest scorer at any silhouette match. I can't hit anything with a rifle because I'm cross dominant.
I try to get to the range and blast away a few pounds of lead every week. I found about 800 pounds of lead just lyin' around at work a few years ago, so I will be able to keep shooting for a while
