Un-annealed MG fired LC 308 brass. I did lube it with RCBS and yes it was an RCBS die in a Lee SS cast press. The handle bent and the connector thingy broke (Lee sent a replacement for free!) and the rim came off. Then I ordered the removal tool. Even worse when you get a BO case stuck in the AR. Small MC tire tool will pull the bolt back. Some Kroil helped.
Yes, I've remove sticky BO case from the Lee die by pounding the stem. Then sand down the stem/head. Used the OneShot in the baggie trick that works - most of the time.

The ever elusive albino eastern jackalope . Nice Rc .

There seems to be a recent surge of stuck 223 regardless of die maker . It's not just the quick and dirty assorted sprays doing it . Roll pads and Imperial seem to be immune thus far . Maybe it's a result of new dies not getting wetted enough .....

There was article i read about how to properly lube a case. The body, shoulder and around the case mouth were important parts.

I stuck a 270 Win brass. The worst one was 7.62x39 I was converting to 6.5 Grendel. Now I just have a zip lock bag I toss a couple hand fills of brass. Hit with some RCBS case lube. Shack around and roll around generously. Havent had a problem since. Hide sight, when I started off I used Lee case lube. Stuff sucks and I only use it as paper jacket lube or case that don't see much force to resize like 357 Mag or 9mm.

Yes.... Jackalopes.... I am gonna bag me a n 8 point one year. As messed up as Florida is there has got to be some here deep in the swamps some where. Just hope I find them before the Swamp Apes find me.

I was told to never to lube the neck or shoulder of a bottleneck case just the body. I always lubed the inside of the neck regardless of full-length, neck or partial sizing.

If .223 cases are getting stuck, I think it's because of the small base sizers and not paying enough attention to proper lubing of cases. Folks just want to push through as many cases as fast as possible.

I use a lube pad & RCBS case lube #2 or Imperial for just a few cases.
Hornady one shot for .38-40 & .44-40.

If you lube the shoulder you get dents. I roll on a pad and lightly twist the mouth on one corner to put a slight film of lube inside and out on the neck. For heavy work I use a mixture of lanolin and castor bean oil thinned slightly with a dash of neatsfoot oil, for light work a different pad and straight Alberto V-O5 hair grease.
