I was offered this carbine today at the LGS. Oddball caliber, but some dote on it.
If anyone is interested, let me know, I'll put you in touch with them. Action was tight, trigger
very light, target globe type front sight, octagon bbl, narrow comb original stock, crescent steel
butt plate. Pretty much all patina.
Just a guess from the style, early 1900s, maybe even before the turn of the century.
Needs to find the right person, and I was thinking that it may be a good cast bullet shooter.
Came from an estate.
