We are on our way from Omaha to Iowa City for our daughters graduation from U of Iowa and to move her to her new town for a new job. Along I80 Brownells has been teasing me with a "coming soon" sign for a new warehouse/retail store. Well boys, it is open!
They have over 1000 guns on hand. I looked at a new Marlin 336 in 35 Remington. Nice wood. I wasn't able to see how the action felt. Price was 650 if I recall correctly. No need, no money, so it stayed there.
They have a bank of computers so you can search their website and place an order while you wait. I was helped by a very friendly employee. I was looking at rubber handgun grips for the 624 and was able to select a couple and chose the one I liked best. Took about 5-10 minutes for my stuff to come out. They have large monitors where they show your first name and last initial so you know when your order is out. I also bought an oversize first pin stop for my 1911. I want to remove some extractor clocking to get my brass to eject more consistently.
Guys, this is a candy store with 70,000 different flavors a of candy on hand for order. This kid will be going back.
