Oops. Dropped that USB cable into my teacup!

Hmm... Dropped a USB cable into my teacup. Computer made funny ringing noises and my browser started using all the cpu and ram. Wonder what comes next?

You wanted a new computer anyway.
Unplug the usb from the computer and see if that stops the problem. If it does, let the usb dry out good and try it again. Hair dryers work really good for drying out electronics.

lets see 3 basic types [okay I'm with you so far] plus a micro and a mini, and 5 basic other kinds and the 10 euro types.
