Primers for the 357 Maximum

I know small rifle primers must be used and my loading so far have utilized IMR 4227 and Remington 7 1/2 primers. Just wondering if it's worth trying out other small rifle primers for any accuracy changes. I know we have some silhouette shooters here with Maximum experience so I am looking for advice. Thanks!

Remington 7 1/2's were one of the keys to success with my 357 max encore.
I was still shooting about 3 different powders trying to find a load that worked for me. All of my groups shrunk when going to rem 7 1/2's.
The magic started to happen when I started using AA1680 powder.

with H-110 I'm using federals.
I burned up all of my 4227 in the 445 so I have nothing for it in the 357.
but you guy's just explained why I have a brick of rem 7-1/2 BR primers in my cabinet.

A Rem 7 1/2 is never a bad idea. Best SR primer out there in my opinion.

Appreciate the input. Going to try out some aa1680. Always heard good things with it in the Max.

It worked best for me when I started compressing it quite a bit. I was going by accurate's load data for the TC contender.
