image.jpeg Trimmed hedges, cut a dead tree, hauled off limbs, washed the truck and wet tumbled, dried 350 LC cases. 99 LC 66 & 249 LC 69. Still got a few SL 55 cases to go and a box of mixed LC & HXP.

Pretty good day and going to the local catfish house tonight!

Sept. 10, 2021 Steve left us. You are missed.
Got some things accomplished, what did you do while you were resting?

A pretty good day here as well. Got the new shooting table/bench unpackaged and assembled in the garage, and its height settings are perfect for a bench rest and a number of other applications. Most of my desert shooting kit is now gathered together, just waiting on a target frame gizmo (should be here Sept. 9) and a sun shade of some kind (to be determined). The weather was decent today, too--about 83* outside, very pleasant. Got some reloading done (10mm with j-words) and some clear-out of loading bench and garage debris. I see a shooting trip soon after the crowds recede after Labor Day. Also scored a deer tag for the Sierras west slope in the Kern Plateau area (Zone D-8).

Al, over many years of pdog shooting, I and my shooting companions came up with umbrellas
mounted on various types of brackets and c-clamps to our benches. They are easily adjusted and
moved around to accommodate your shade needs. The Varmint hunters assn sold (for awhile) an
umbrella that was guaranteed to buck winds to I believe 35 mph. I bought one, and it lives up
to its advertising. It is a simple fix for portable benches,
