Remember to check your credit report annually

I strongly suggest Credit Karma, an absolutely wonderful tool to keep up with your credit report. This does not hurt your credit to use and you can check it daily.

10 yr ago my credit was such a train wreck that if someone had stolen it it would have served them right .
Today it's another matter all together. Life time average isn't much but the day to day shines .
I get a quarterly via my financial institution as a professional offering everything else is so balled up I can't hardly leave the county w/o having transactions flag .

Thread drift
Last week for the second time in a year. We have had our CC numbers stolen. Neither time we were held accountable. It is just frustrating having to get new cards.

Ugh. I've had that happen twice, so far. Not recently.

I'm fairly certain I figured out which online vendor has security issues.

hmm.
I gots no credit, never have, never checked it.
I generally work everything on what i have always called 'the one payment plan'.
the only loan I have ever got in my entire life is for my house and that was about 7 years ago.
i'll probably just draw from my retirement savings next month and just pay off what I owe on it since I'm not working right now.

That's my financial plan. 100% down and very easy monthly payments.

Have you a water, power ,gas, phone ,Internet or other will call account that is billed as used or on 6/5 for services from 5/1-5/31 ? If so you have a credit rating. Made payments on an Saturday ER visit for stitches ? Have an unused but active CC ? It's all in the report . It's even tied to your home and auto insurance.

got those, the gas is paid until sometime in 2017.
electricity etc is paid until september.
no CC of any type.
if they are on my credit report I'm sure my number is awesome if not it's probably 400.
