Reticule focussing in Redfield 2x-6x EER pistol scope

Swapped it out for a LER scope (BSA from Red China) and the KNJ CHS-06 holster accepts the larger front lens.

Before folks pile on, the Burris 2x EER scope I used yesterday has a nice and clear reticule. Dog robbed a 2x-6x Redfield, dropped it on, squared the crosshairs, and it seems the rear eyepiece ring does not bring the reticule into a reasonable focus. Glass is good, just the crosshairs are blurry. Screwed the rear eyepiece out to the end of travel (carefully!) then started to run it forward again.

About ready to swap out with a cheap (Red Chinese) EER scope where the reticule is fairly sharp. Though the glass has some wierd appearance at a high angle to the centerline. That is OK for now, can't be helped.

Got some V blocks?First check on scope is visual, sloooowly spin it on the blocks.Height corrected if necessary (accommodate different diameters).

D.I.'s apply, but more often than not, with proper back lighting, you're gonna see any wobbles.
