IMG_0542.JPG IMG_0543.JPG Picked this 3 screw Single Six up today from the small gunshop that I once worked in. Serial number dates it to 1957. Needs to be disassembled and cleaned but is otherwise sound.

They sure don't make them like that any more, excellent find. I guess you didn't get the other cylinder with it.

My brother had a fixed sight version when we were kids, unfortunately it was stolen in one of his
many moves. Nice pistol.

Mag cylinders come up on eBay and Gun Broker with regularity, reasonable prices. REALLY a
lot louder with magnums, but we had poor ear plugs back before EAR foam came out.

After further review I discovered the cylinder with the gun is the magnum cylinder. Fired a few rounds through it this morning in the rain. Once weather clears up and water drains off I plan on seeing how she really shoots.

18 loose cylinders on sale at GunBroker......:(
But all are the mag cylinders, no .22 LR cylinders for sale at this time. Asking prices running from
$80 to $120 - ouch.

Check out eBay item 201765933539. .22 LR cyl, currently at $63 with 3 days to go, no idea where it
may go.

Or for a rough one to polish up and reblue...112254649235, at $30 with 5 days to go.
