Among other glowing reviews I took your's to heart Ben and picked up a SP101 357 yesterday. I think I'm on the ragged edge of my wife's goodwill for a spell but I'm excited to try it out. I think she even wants to shoot it.

Do yourself a big favor and install a Wolf spring kit in it. You will be amazed at the difference it will make.

My GP 100 has a Wolff kit and it did help the trigger pull. I also smoothed a few parts on the inside.
If a more durable 357 double action has been made I don't know what it is.

Got a chance to shoot this afternoon, some 38 Special WC that are probably 30+ years old a friend gave me. I think I'm going to like it. Can't wait to work up some of my own loads. Even got the wife to try it, and my Blackhawk 45 Colt. I think she likes the Blackhawk best. I'm a novice handgunner, she hasn't done much shooting at all, did pretty well.

My GP lead to another purchase a few years later, a Dillon 550 B. I shot 200 rounds a week for 13 weeks straight after I bought my GP. Takes lots of time to size that many bullets on a Lyman 450 and load them on a single stage press.

Steve,

If the two of you will continue putting those revolvers through their paces , neither of you will be a novice for very long !
