Casting and loading some “ cowboy “ loads after work today

Seems to be a lot easier than hi tek. Not sure it’s any quicker than pc but it’s something new.

Shot a small test batch and clean barrel with good accuracy.

This is three light coats with a 10 min bake on each at 385 deg.

It goes on very smooth is a touch thicker than HiTek but not as thick as pc.
Shoots accurate and the bore is mirror bright no fouling.

Nice selection of styles, weights, alloy, and of course colors. That should keep him busy.

I just picked up a few colors of that coating to give it a try. I do a lot of my pistol bullets in HiTek and want to see how this is. not a lot of people trying it yet so I am glad to see you have and you are liking it so far. I probably won't be able to try it out until after the new year.

110 of the Accurate 45-270K powder coated with chrome and sized to .452, loading in 45 colt on top of Trail Boss for some early morning Christmas Eve loading tomorrow
