Took care of the size matters problem, bought me a bag of .445SM brass. That idea of making cases from 30/40 does work, after a fashion, but you run into a wall thickness problem. The guide tip on the case trimmer won't even enter the case, what the heck did I cut them to length with?? Wish I hadn't sacrificed those cases 'cause I also shoot 30/40AI. Anyway, have any of you worked with cast in the .445, specifically 250 and 265gr GC? I have some info using H335, kinda wanting to try 2400 but finding little info. Suppose I could start with heavier 44Mag loads and maybe sneak up. Not overly concerned with velocity, gonna look for accuracy. GW
