I don't need it enough to even come close to justifying a dedicated lubersizer just for BP cartridge loads. The bullets do need to go through the sizer. I can simply back off the screw to eliminate the pressure in the reservoir and not apply the lube while sizing the bullets – no problem there.
It would be nice (but not absolutely necessary) if I could apply the lube to the bullets while sizing them (sort of the whole purpose of that machine) but I don’t want to remove the contents of the lubersizer and put SPG in place just to apply lube to 50-100 bullets every 4-5 months or more.
The options are clear and JonB probably has the simplest solution. In a perfect world……it would be nice if I could just get away with 50/50
BTW- these are bullets for .40-60 WCF and being used in a 1876 Winchester.
