Shot my test loads this morning. All shot at 25 yards. 1st 4 were the 55gr spire pts. I mentioned in earlier posts. These were loaded with 5.1 gr of Red Dot, seated to 2.080.
The point of impact was 2.5" below POA. Group avg. Was .657
.840 greatest spread
.193 tightest spread.
Next up was 5- 45 gr. RN
4.6 gr. Of Red Dot
OAL- 2.040
Group average- .670
.725 greatest spread
.194 tightest spread
All boolits shot were of the gas check variety,Powder coated, w/o checks installed.
Shows some real promise. Now for more loading and shooting . Sorry folks I cannot get pictures to download. Everytime I try it says error: download to large for server. Frustrating considering I am technologically challenged. I do well just to post here.
