The weather people said that a storm was coming last night. And it did. Got snow down to the water mark last night/early morning. Been raining all morning at the house. Not much outside activity going to happen today.
As far as the wooly worms are concerned I have seen 3 types already : One was all dark ( very Scary) ! One was all light! and one was "light , dark, light" in equal proportions!
I'm guess even this "nature's critters" are now being influenced by the news media's "weathermen"
Seriously not a joke! I don't know which of the three to believe and they were all from the same locality!
Please, please, pretty please with clean ingots on top keep the cold & snow away from here as long as possible.
For hunting & outdoor fun I don't mind cold or snow, but keeping expensive heat exchangers, water tanks mounted in vans, & other water containing tools from freezing is a nightmare.
An inch at my cabin in southern Colorado last night. The Cayman is NOT a snow car,
had difficulty getting up the grassy, snow covered driveway to the gravel road. Wife
pushed, I gently spun and balanced clutch and throttle to make the road. Did not
expect snow this early. Just a couple day stopover on return from left coast.
We take the 4Runner when we intend to go to the cabin.
