Think IMR got jealous

Ugh. The EU restrictions are going to end up affecting the TGIC in my beloved powder coat pretty soon, too.

Maybe we can play AT&T and REACH out and touch someone? Right up side the noggin.

Will, I too am a pretty dedicated Alliant guy. What I use that isn't Allinat is likely Hodgdon. IMR? Not so much.

Dots still funny. I grew up on Hercules/Alliant too, and feel self conscious when I use another brand of pistol powder. Red Dot, Unique, and 2400 could easily handle almost all of my handgun needs. RX7 is my first choice for 223/5.56.

I never thought about it until now.

RX7 is one powder for which I cannot find a substitute. Shotgun/pistol powders, not so much. We needed a whole new lineup of those like we needed a hole in our heads. So, I wonder, are the Hi-Skor powders going away now?

Buncha dot knock offs....lol!

If we mix the colors together does it stop position or temperature sensitivity issues?

I still think Hodgdon/IMR should have named them RipOff, Pinko-Commie, GreenPeas, Unicorn, and DirtyWish, in order of fastest to slowest.

They're missing out by NOT offering a 2400 clone. THAT powder seems to have been unobtainable here for a couple of years.

I agree
Dad and I split 10 pounds we found online about 2 years ago. We had to pay a little higher price than I would have liked but at least we were able to get it.

As long as you have 2400 and a fast burning pistol powder like red dot or bullseye you can pretty much do it all.
