My grandson Trevor got a nice BB Gun for Christmas.
He lives in town and really doesn't have a safe place to shoot his new gun.
I decided to make him a " Trap ".
Not only will it catch 100 % of his BB's, but the top is removable and
he can drop in a magnet in the bottom of the trap and pick up everyone of the
BB's and recycle them.
The trap has a heavy gauge rubber " curtain " that is positioned about
3/4 ths of the way to the rear of the trap. The BB's will hit the rubber curtain
and fall to the floor of the trap for collection later.
He can shoot cheap paper plates held in position with " push pins ".
I really do wish that I'd had one of these when I was a kid.
Tell me what you think ?
Ben
There is a rubber mat that is located about 3/4 ths of the way back in the trap.
Another look at the mat :
The trap is portable and has a carrying handle.
I figure one of these will make retrieving the BB's a simple and quick matter.
