I would rather be at the show. Make sure to wear good walking shoes.

I went two years ago for the first time. It was one heck of a show. I only had 4 hours to spend there and literally had to fast-walk the whole show. Saw more eye-candy than my eyes (or pocketbook) could stand. Went to see if I could find a 20X Lyman STS for my 1885 Highwall. Didn't..........but because of my talking about the show and missing what I wanted, one of the guys on one of my favorite forums told me he had some for sale and made me an offer I couldn't refuse..........even though I couldn't really afford it. But that's a whole 'nother story. The show itself is well worth seeing, but take a pocket full of money and plan to spend plenty of time there. Luckily it's more than one day, so if you really want to see it, plan on staying for the whole show. Oh, and Ben is right.............wear some really comfortable shoes.

It's only two and a half hours from my place to the Fair Grounds where the show is held. But it makes for a hard day to drive the two hours, walk the show for eight and drive two home. Gettin' much too old for that crap.

You driving or flying in Ben?
It wasn't a bad drive last year. Would love to go this year but that pesky thing called work got in my way.

Have a safe trip. I tend to take it easy on trips like that. I don't push it and stop if I get tired. Helps to have a wife who tags along.

My wife is traveling with me. We will be stopping a good bit to stretch our legs.
My only son lives in the Tulsa area, we will visit with him while we are in OK.

Wish I were going. I was like a kid in his first candy store visit. That place was incredible.
