Probably why, I don't use one. Few times I did, I got lost. Siri doesn't factor in road construction/closures.

I use my phone for many things but not as a GPS. Siri be damned I trust my Garmin far more than I do my iPhone.

And Rick, no long term cemetery stays. Please

Well I will tell you what! Recently My wife and I attended an Interment of a family member in one of the biggest cemeteries in Scranton....getting in was easy ( just follow the procession) After it was over we were on our own to find our way out! This place was huge with hundreds of roads it seemed! We just kept going in circles ( so were all the other folks that attended) Ahhh! switched on the iPhone GPS.... Well it took us to every locked gate in the entire Cemetery! Finally ( only after 1/2 hour taking the entire tour) Siri found the only open gate! Yes it was the last exit she chose and finally got us to the open one!
Later at the Memorial Luncheon; I talked with at least 12 others who took the same route using GPS !!!

Have some relatives buried in that cemetery, on my mother's side. Wyoming, PA residents. Father's side, buried in a rural cemetery, that had a football field sized cement swimming area. Don't know the name or location. Dad use to take me there to visit his parents. Afterwards, we would go mushroom or huckleberry picking in the backwoods. Fathers side hailed from Plains, PA.

Winelover,
I know that area well! My neck of the woods.
Spent a lot of my time there re-enacting the Wyoming Massacre ( July 3,1777 )

We have a BUNCH of these big yellow road signs here that spell it out pretty plainly....

"Not GPS Recommended" as in,you are seriously getting ready to be lost!

Oh yeah and another series of signs, usually a few miles further about tractor trailer length. Both of the above are ignored by truck drivers, then they get all pi$$y when #1,there is no place to turn around. And then #2,is when they jackknife and get hung up on the undercarriage.

Should be a 3rd series saying..... "told you".
