Unknown mould maker

I went to my LGS this morning, and he offered me a few moulds that he acquired at an estate sale a while back. I couldn't refuse the deal so they came home with me. One in particular has me curious because I can't find a maker's mark anywhere. A 6 cavity iron mould, nutcracker style handles, 45 cal SWC.
I don't have a way to post pics, only a dumb cell phone but I could text pics to someone if I had someones #. I promise not to abuse the privilege.

My Guess... an H&G #68

I have a real old "Geo Hensley" 4 cav iron mold (Pre-H&G) it's a 38spl WC.
My mold was seen A LOT of use, and the markings on it are real faint.

Maybe the markings are there on your mold, but are just difficult to see?
or maybe the markings have worn off from some aggressive rust removal prior to you getting it?

Someone did scrub around on the outside of the blocks, the only mark I have seen at all is 76. I cast a few , didn't even get it warmed up, seems to work well but man is it heavy. I just put a 45 Colt Blackhawk on layaway, maybe the ticket for it.

At large, whereabouts unknown.
Look on the handles, early H&G and the earlier Geo. A Hensley moulds were usually marked there. As an aside, Hensley also made moulds in the early days for Peerless that could have been unmarked as well.

Yes, H&G. Could the "76" actually be a "78"? The H&G 78 was a 215 gr 45 ACP design.

#78 - .45 Auto. 215 grains. "Rowland Bullet". First cherry made February 11, 1941. Two rounded grease grooves, no crimp groove. Semi-wadcutter shoulder, straight taper nose, rounded to meplat. See Reeves, American Rifleman, January 1948 issue, page 46. Available in plain base or bevel base.

I can't seem to use your link for some reason but you description sure seems accurate. Thanks for your input. The # stamp is sort of faint, maybe it is 78.

Yes, this link works for me, thanks. My mould looks like the #78.
