WARNING - POSSIBLE SPAMMERS

This was posted on the CB forum site. We have had one such incident on this site and the person was banned. If you post any WTB and receive a PM with a link please report it to us with the report function or a PM. We can't fix a possible problem if we don't know about it.

SPAMMER ALERT​

Recently CB has had a influx of scammers sending a PM to members that have posted in S&S.
They offer to sell you the item you said you wanted and provide a email address for contact.
When responding to PM messages please look at the persons profile that sent it.
Typically the scammers are new members that recently joined with zero posts.
The Staff at CB is doing its best to catch them prior to sending the messages.
If you receive a message from someone that you think might be a scammer please use the report feature to report it.

I turn away anywhere from 1-4 spammers a day who want in.
I do my best but eventually someone will get in.

Like Rick said- report it right away!

a newer one is posting a WTB for a friend.
or the friend has something somebody posts as wanting to buy.
then a somewhat confusing this and that ensues sucking the buyer in because of the decent price for the built up product.

Just proves . . . only buy from regulars. On calguns.net you have to have a certain amount of posts before you can buy/sell then there is a rating system after each deal.
