I have one of the newer stainless .44 Bulldogs with 4" bbl and adjustable sights . It's a good gun but I don't like the plastic grip frame they used. It has a bit of give to it , I am thinking of ordering a metal replacement for an older Bulldog and fitting it to this gun . My youngest killed his first handgun deer with it last week using a 245 grain 429421 and 7.5 grains of Unique . He shot it in the neck hitting the spine and the bullet also broke the left shoulder. Shot was from a tree stand at about 20 yards . Deer dropped at the shot and never moved but was still breathing so he finished it with a head shot . Will post a picture when he sends me one. It was a small 6 pointer .
