I wish you luck. Might buy a new one and spend a few days fixing it to fit your Swede, which will end up needing .2685" on all bands behind the nose.

I would consider one of the NOE molds before I went with one of the ones made for the masses.
IMHO from working with the swede it would save a lot of work at the casting,loading and shooting bench.

The Kurtz mold has solved all my issues with 6.5, I sold my 266469 to a fellow Australian and have not looked back.

The ONLY reason I opted for a Lyman mould for this caliber (#266469) was the rifle's very catholic throat and groove specs--Ruger 77R with 6-groove .256" x .264", throat about .2645." .265" Buckshot H&I die and all goes well to 1900 FPS. If another 6.5 x 55 comes along--esp. a milsurp--I would have one of the semi-custom makers or SAECO do the work.
