Had some comp time to use today, so I decided on some range time with the SKS. Used the Yugo since it has the gas shutoff and seems to be the more accurate rifle out of my collection. Loaded with Lee 155gr, sized .311 & lla, bullseye powder measured with the Lee scoop, and Winchester brass and primers. This initial load was a proof of concept to see where it's at for a baseline.
I couldn't be happier with the results. 50yd silhouettes were a piece of cake, and by moving the sights to 600yds, was able to consistently hit a 100yd ram silhouette. Enjoy!!
