that 150gr SP is quite pointy

I have also read, the FN mono bullets are potentially dangerous in a tube if the primers are flush.

seems the sharp edge of the FN can set off the primer easier than the soft lead tip of a sharper round nose

the pointy 8mm Lebel rims had a little groove around the middle of them when they were tube fed before they went to the clip system.
if any rimmed necked case was gonna have an issue that'd be the one.
