When I was a kid I remember our neighbor mentioning "monologue", his word for what his wife was going through. Took me a lot of years to understand what he meant, and it will be another 15 or so before I get to live with it.

well, since we are getting all personal and such.
My Mom turned in some of her Mommy Gear (surgically) sometime in the 1970's. She was prescribed progesterone or something like it? She had been on that til about five years ago (she is 86 now), Her new Doctor wondered why she was still on it? and then took her off that Med. She started having hot flashes afterward. Well, shortly after that, I was there for a visit, she told me she wanted to strangle her old doctor for leaving her on that for so long, and this was nothing an 80 year woman should have to go through. My Dad said, Hey this is nothing an 83 year man should have to go through either.

Having survived it twice I agree no man should have to go through it ... 3? ,4? Let alone 80 anything . Sweat ,freeze you don't ______ anymore , again it's only be a week since we ______ , why aren't you ready , aren't you done yet ....... And that's just in the kitchen over dinner with kids .

I have noticed that these threads have more drifts than the great plains in a blizzard. But a lot more interesting.
