76F, yard work. She cleaned windows, I fixed the hose. Glad I got a new hose end sprayer, she couldn't get the old one to work - gee, plugged up as you didn't run the hose to clean the junk out. Need to spray for bugs and weeds, blow leaves into pile I can pick up tomorrow. Back sore today. Say hi to tylenol tonite. IcyHot helped today.

It's 83* currently, but windy. Our decline starts on Sunday. Monday and Tuesday's lows are right at the freezing mark. Strong storms for late this afternoon and through the night.

That was the forecast from the national weather service this morning. The local radio however is saying nothing of any of that, they are only saying it might rain.

Storm is here. Temp dropped about 5 degrees in 20 minutes. Heavy rain, strong wind, lightning every 10 to 30 seconds. Rain seems to be being blown in all directions at once.

Temp dropped here 24 degrees in about 20 minutes and now hail has started. Yep, it's here alright.

Windy today--20 to 30 MPH NE winds, 61* right now. In spite of the winds, the overcast is still around--blown around and patchy, but it's here. Gotta admire that sort of tenacity.

I am happy to announce the hail didn't last long and wasn't anywhere near as large as the National Weather service predicted.

sun burnt the cold fog off and has been out ever since.
it's not all that warm though, and it's struggling to melt the snow off the shed roof.... maybe tomorrow.

48° and cloudy. Yesterday's softball sized hail did not materialize; we got lemon drop sized hail for a few minutes that temporarily discomforted the tweety birds and gray squirrels at the bird feeders. Turkeys and deer in the back yard.

We had a nice rain that started before dawn and kept up a nice light patter until early afternoon. If I had to guess we got a solid 1/4". With the ongoing near drought every bit is appreciated. Cleared off by late afternoon and got almost up to 50°.

LOTS of rain overnight. No hail I am aware of. My cousin pinged me this morning asking. They got it last night. He is about ~25 mi W of Winchester IN where there was a bad tornado.

Just heard back from him that the freight train tornado went right over their house. They were lucky.
