I've looked at the HF sawmill online. Still haven't seen one in person. It's rather stupid for me to want a mill when I have Amish mills, like 5, all around me that will cut what ever I want, how ever I want, when ever I want, but the desire is still there. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the mill after you get some run time. Best of luck with it though! That's definitely a "man toy"!
SWMBO had yesterday off, as did the granddaughter (unused snow days, something they probably don't have down south). Went to Wally World and found out my farm tractor tire (13.9-28) for $86.00 I'd ordered was a 17 inch truck tire. When you order on line from Walmart they often have outside vendors offering stuff. There are several farm tractor tires offered under $100.00 The "normal" price would be up around $3-400. So a few of us ona tractor site have tried ordering them hoping we'd get them. I'm not sure if the company is obligated to send a product if they say it's in stock at a certain price and show a picture and description that should be a farm tire. ??? Cancled that order, bought 2 batteries, went to Lowes and boght screen molding, took the kid to her dads. Spent most of the rest of the day with a heating pad on the knee. About 10:30PM the dogs outside were going nuts. I spotted my #1 livestock guard dog going down the road towards the barn. Figured the sheep were out. Gord went and checked the sheep and they were all in, as was the dog by then. All I can think is he chased something (coyote? another dog?) all the way down to the house and then got some help from the "barn guard" dog that was supposed to be with the sheep, which then set off all the dogs. I dunno, never happened before.
Todays events include moving sheep fence/sheep, sheetrock and priming, lawn mowing hopefully, hobbling around and a thousand other things.
