400 Legend

Mine arrived yesterday. Looks good last nite I started sizing. Finished this AM. Then swaged primer pockets and cleaned them.
The brass is back in wet tumble now then dryer.

Received 101 pcs.

Mine arrived about 30 min. ago. haven't opened bag yet but it looks good.

Opened the bag ,this is nice looking brass. None are tarnished no bent case mouths. This looks in better condition than a lot of new brass I have bought. I will definitely buy from them again if I need brass that I can't find new. I also got 101 pieces.

The 41 Great Lakes is built on the 41 Mag bullets. The adds I watch, advertise it in strong bolt guns with long barrels. The 400 can be loaded stutter in a bolt gun too.
At the end of the day if you like .410 over .400 its a better choice for you. ;)

Should work well. I loaded some 350 legend subs with it. 9gr with a 200gr bullet went 930fps
I would have thought it would have been stouter than that with 9gr in that small of a case. I guess with a bullet that heavy is why the velocity was that low.

CW did a bunch of sub loads for the 350 so he might have a better guess at what to load. I think he used Herco. But the data will be almost exactly the same for unique.

I bought a 265g mold just for this!!! ❤️

No loading here yet as I have no gun...

Yes Herco was my choice
For the 350. But because I had a few pounds and had not used since 8 stopped loading 20ga twenty years ago..

Unique is fine as would about any of the colored flakes. :)

Im trying ta justify a Contender carbine bbl in .400.... :p ;)
"Justify?"

It would just be rationalizations, so why bother? Just get one!

@Rushcreek , the mini MKX would be cool!

I ALMOST bought another CZ527 for the specific purpose of chambering it for the 350L (as much as I don't care for the cartridge) so I could have a 16" 357 Max in a full-stocked bolt-gun.

ALMOST.

Exactly...

I want about 18". I require threads. Prefer 11/16x24 to match 450BM.

Definitely do not want 24" in 400 Legend!

Then 8-10week leade

And lastly 550$
