it's hard to chamber anything much over that 410 diameter in any of mine.

411 had to be shoved in hard,, and then i'd turn the cylinder by hand so the gun could shove them in far enough for the cylinder to turn freely when i wanted to use the hammer to turn it.

I always used .410, and it worked fine in Rugers/S&Ws/TCs/SSK TCs/DWs. Nothing ever worked well in Marlins, waste of good gun money.

What you will find with "41's" is far more consistency in chambers and dimensions. At least in the 6/7 guns I have had this has been the case.

.410 has been very good and fits my BlkHawk throats nicely.

I sized my 41 Mag bullets at .411" and all went well. My castings weren't Keith-type bullets with long front drive bands, though. In all three of my 41s (2 BHs and a 657) all throats passed a .410" minus pin gauge and would not pass a .411", IIRC. I concur that the makers turn 41s out correctly IME. (Another 657 wasn't gauged, I was talked out of it in short order. It shot great.)

Still debating between another 41 Mag or the S&W 610 x 6".

I currently own three .41’s . I have enjoyed .41’s for many years, much more so than .44 mag. They all have their place but my .41’s will be the last to go .

Finally got around to shooting it today. Load was somecommercial cast 225 grain SWCs and 10.5 grains of the old Alcan 7. Shot alright, I thjink it has good potential. When I have the time and decent weather to cast, I'm pretty sure I can make some which will do better.

I picked up a pound of that Ramshot Enforcer not long ago, curious to try it in this and the .44.
