Why does the cup rattle on the french press when I pour?

I just threw out all my remaining coffee beans, and am packing up the coffee grinder & pots. I've long had issues with hand & body tremors, and the culprit ended up being coffee. Yesterday my handwriting looked like I was trying to write with my toes while jumping up and down during an earthquake. That was the last straw, from now on it'll have to be green tea, which doesn't shake me as bad.

I get just like that . . . When I don't have the coffee.

Towards the end of my college career, I had to cut back after a particularly vivid flashback. While trying to go to sleep, I thought of my hand, and it was like you zoomed in and the hand became huuugggee. Like zooming in with an Adobe PDF. Plus my hands and feet being cold at night. Swore off the juice for three months, decaf and herbal tea...

But now I'm back...

rare for me to drink coffee.
I really like the taste of coffee, but rarely drink it.
when I do drink it I generally have a 44 oz mug of cappuccino or mocha blend, and I really like stuff like a vanilla bean on ice with extra espresso shots.

Drank coffee a few times when I started working, what they had in the conference rooms
at work. Certainly no gormet coffee but it really upset my stomach. Quit, never hated the taste
but no big attraction, like I could eat coffee ice cream, but would never choose it over other
flavors. Caffeine doesn't keep me awake, either, has absolutely zero effect so no attraction at all
on that basis either. Just never have had any interest or need for it.

Bought my wife a Keurig for Christmas. We have had a Bunn for years and like it a lot but its not so good for making less than about a half pot. Instead of making a pot in the evening and drinking too much or wasting the excess we now can make a single cup. With the reusable K cup adapters we can use the same coffee.

I always figure if you want to conquer a civilized country the first step would be to cut off their coffee supply.

Coffee was worth a little shaky handwriting until it recently became almost illegible. I tried decaf, but it wasn't decaf enough. I'm sure I'll still experiment, but it's not looking too good at the moment. Caffeine from tea affects me differently for some reason, as does caffeine in pop. This makes me believe that its probably not caffeine per se, but one of the other compounds in coffee.

I know this feeling . There are several tea combos that act like coffee ÷2 on me .
Of course a 20 oz Diet Pepsi effects me the same as a beer .
