I assume you drove to the sight where the targets are placed? Carrying the plates and frames to hang them very far would remove much of the fun from the endeavor.
Are the targets taken down when done and gone?

We leave them out there but yes, we take them down.
Yeah. There is a road we can go down and only have to carry stuff a couple hundred yards at most.
