I thank God He was in his own home when he passed! I only hope I will be so lucky when it is my turn.
I was hoping he wasn't in the hospital or other institution. He loved his farm and was very devoted to it. He was too young to have left.
I watched one of my brothers wither away in a hospice facility, yes it was a nice place but not his home! My last brother died on December 7th 2022, he was in hospice care but at home with his wife and family. I'm sure he was content with his last days before he left us.
I am so happy Bret had the same opportunity to be in the place and with the people he loved!

I wonder since Bret was a Marine and a Trooper if he was at Camp Lejuene or did he work the 9/11 pile? There are funds for folks who did that. I wish I was a lawyer, I'd try to get his family compensated if they haven't already.
