This Mac has a hole through the ram that the primers go and it's dumped into a holder with a deflector much like the same as they use for their shotgun, shell primer, catcher, plastic tray thingy. This Prest didn't come with the plastic tray, but that diffuser does a nice job of dropping the primer straight down And I keep a trashcan under my press because the little Lyman four hole turret nicely dumps the primer straight down

My favorite to reload on is the RCBS A3. The machining is much higher precision than previous RCBS A series and its larger size and solid steel handle make it glide much smoother then the Rock Chucker IMO. Its capability is probably around the same but for whatever reason I find it smoother. The A2 was my go to press prior to this and I never thought that would change especially since it is steel and the A3 is not. I bought the A3 to round out the collection and it won me over.
