I have a few old copper ones that I've had for quite a while I'd be glad to sent your way (approx. 100).

For those not aware , Sage senior passed away , his son and wife are trying to keep up but he ran all the machines , Mrs Sage was book keeping and Sage jr was pack and shipping .

As I understand it Wes had a lot of "and when the 32/8mm makes a tickaity-tick instead of tickity-tack you oil the 3rd righthand collation ejector but about 1 in 3 it's a counter hum from running the 30 and 7mm machines at the same time" running adjustments in the shop .

Jr said they would make a best effort to continue as much as they could but he felt like he just didn't communicate well with the machines . Of course that was only a week or 2 after Sage Sr passed last spring so I imagine there was a lot of other stuff going on taking priority over learning tickity dialects and making up for Sr starting machines at 4am because his weather predictors woke him up .

Earlier in November I was needing some checks from Sage’s but the store showed no stock. I emailed to enquire about when stock would be available and there was actually stock but the web store had not yet been updated. I received a K each of PB checks as well of traditional. Never hurts to ask...

Thanks guys. PMs answered. Ill check GRAFFS.
Check Sages again. I was just on their site, they are showing 35 cal copper checks in stock. I just ordered some 30’s and 45’s at a great price! Thanks for the reminder about Sage GCs!

I've had some PM conversations with the elder Sage some years ago. Besides the usual "can you made some various GC samples for me?" conversations, there was one time he asked me about another GC maker guy (WindPower was his CB name), Windpower was selling out and Sages was interested in his equipment. I guess a couple of the automated presses were like WWII vintage commercial manufacturing presses, that Windpower had modified to make GCs. Anyway Sages ending up buying them, and I bet they are something to keep running ;)
