Bulldogs are amazingly fast off the mark for ten feet. All that muscle lets them four foot then five foot jump start. Well, except for AKC English Bulldogs that can only make six inch steps.

Japan has a memorial statue to a dog that went to the train station to meet his owner everyday.
he continued showing up every afternoon to meet the train for 10 years after his owner died at work.

Fort Benton, Mt. is known for the faithful dog, Shep, waiting for his master to return. We used to stop by there now and then when I was a kid. Even today my vision gets a little blurry when I remember the story.

"Hachi, A Dog's Tale" - Made in 2009. A remake of the original made in 1987. Dog's name was Hachiko; he passed away in 1935. When the station employees realized he would not not going to leave the station, they took over feeding him and caring for hm.
